<i>'What fascinates us, also leads and guards us. Passionate obsession by something we love - sails, planes, ideas - and an uncontainable magic flow make the way for us reducing to zero the importance of rules, common sense and disagreement, carrying us over the deepest hollows of controversy. Without the strength of this love we turn into boats stuck in the flat calm in the sea of unrelieved boredom, and this is fatal...'</i>

- a piece from the book I am reading at this very moment, ('The Bridge across Forever' by Richard Bach. Should sound approx. like this - had to translate back to English myself). When I saw it, this blog came to my mind. Right in time. Thanks!

Hey Sietse.

That point about family likely to have an idea about a family member's passion is quite valid, as people can usually what personality type someone has from when they are quite young. While exact job description expectations are not to be followed if not fitting, the general category that parents feel fits their kids is usually in the right area of activity to pursue.

We see what we like to do with or for other people, and then we adjust in a way that involves more giving than taking. Thanks for these points that I don't see much of in relation to finding passion.

Great post about passion! It's so important to figure out what your true passion is. Once you identify it, you can put all of your energy into exploring it and strengthening it.
