3 Ways To Improve Your Life Right Now

Many of us dream about a better life every single day. “Imagine I would have that…” or “I am thinking about quitting…” are often heard one-liners, and often refer to the possibility of a certain development in the future. Why? Because most people believe change is hard. If you don’t know how to start, this blog might help you to start a more successful life right now.

One of my favorites is “easy things are often so hard to do, because it is often easier not do do them.” That is very true. Think about it! Drinking less coffee, eating two pieces of fruit every day, getting at least 8 hours of sleep. All relatively easy things to do, that many of us just don’t get done.

Let’s see what you can do to start a better life today.

1. Decide it!

Many people want to be successful, and everyone – without exception! – wants to be happy in life. I am often shocked to see how many excuses people have not to be. Most of the time, these are external factors. It’s the partner, the mother-in-law, the boss, the government, the neighbours, the weather… In most of the cases I spoke with people about their success and happiness, there was one simple cause: They never decided to be happy, and never determined what had to be done to become so! They are passively waiting until happiness is being delivered by express mail. Take back control over your own life. Why? Because you can! Millions of people can, so can you! How? Simply by deciding it, and then by acting upon it!

This worksheet can really help you to do so. Print it out, read it, sign it and put it above your bed, your desk or at the inside of the toilet door!

2. Find that state of happiness now!

How often do you really face big problems? Think about it! It is likely you spend about 80% of your negative energy on 20% of your problems. It is very tempting to loose your head over something small, but is it really all worth the energy under the excuse of “I have to let it out”? Instead of loosing your temper, try to put yourself in a state of happiness. Put on a great piece of music, go out for a walk, call a good friend or make yourself a wonderful sandwich. Do whatever brings you in a state of happiness!

This worksheet can help you to find that state of happiness, also in times when you might need a subtle reminder…

3. Get those things done now!

It’s the small things you still have to do that you just can’t get done. It’s the stuff you really don’t like, but it still has to be done. Pay a few bills, do the dishes, call a relative you haven’t spoken for too long, fill out that form, go out to buy… Anyway, you know what I mean. Though it would only take you little time, you just can’t get yourself to do it. Here I have one simple answer: JUST DO IT! Ok, that might be a little bit in your face, but here is the idea behind it: Getting those small things done gives you great satisfaction! That’s what people often forget!

This worksheet can be of great help. Print out one sheet per day, and fill it out first thing in the morning. After completion, you can fully commit your thoughts and energy to those things that really matter, and achieve higher results on those fields where you can actually accomplish amazing success.

That’s it for now. There are, of course, many more things you can do to start a better life right away, so I might come back to this topic in the near future. It’s time to get started!

Are you using the worksheets, and did you book any result? Or did you miss something that could improve them? Share your experiences, thoughts and feedback in the reaction field! Thank you so much!
